The first half of 2016 has been a momentous one for Forza Motorsport 6 and its commitment to competitive online racing and esports. There are currently three million players racing in Forza games every month, competing in events such as June’s Le Mans-timed Michelin 24 Hour Forza Challenge and Audi 24 Hours of Le Forza Contest, where over 700,000 unique viewers tuned in. In addition, recent Forza Motorsport 6 FIA Formula E Race Off competitions garnered over 600,000 unique viewers.

In early June, we announced the Forza Racing Championship (#ForzaRC), our all-new competitive online racing and esports program. This is the largest competition in Forza history, and we are proud to announce that the inaugural season begins on August 8 and registration is open as of today – go to ESL to sign up.

Players from across the world, and of all skill levels, can compete for amazing Forza and Xbox prizes throughout the month of August, while the best Forza players in the world will lay it all on the line for the ultimate prize – the all-new 2017 Ford Focus RS. Arguably the most acclaimed hot-hatch of the decade, the 350-horsepower Focus RS has wowed fans and critics alike with its track-bred performance and its sleek and sophisticated lines.

Whether you’re racing royalty or just getting started, we’ve got a place for you in ForzaRC. We designed the competition to be a place where players of all skill levels can participate and have a great time competing for awesome prizes. The first season of ForzaRC will include both an Elite Series and an Open Series available to all players. Each series will follow a slightly different path, utilize different modes in the game, and have different prizes available to winners. The common link between them? Everyone is...
The Turn 10 Summer Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 has arrived! Whether you’re looking to recreate the legends of motorsport’s past, or you want to create your own legend online in Forza Motorsport 6, this pack has something for everyone.

First up, we have four stunning racers, three of which were driven by racing legends: John Surtees’ Ferrari F-158 F1, A.J. Foyt’s Watson #1 Sheraton-Thompson Special Roadster and Paul Newman’s Datsun #33 Bob Sharp Racing 280ZX Turbo. Of course, cars don’t need to have race liveries to be terrifyingly fast, as the monstrous 2016 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan amply demonstrates. And if you value speed over size, you can head straight to the 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto, a car that belies its diminutive stature with some truly striking performance.

The cars of the Turn 10 Summer Car Pack are available to download today as a pack for $7 or for individual purchase.

Let’s take a closer look at all the cars in the pack.

2016 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan
What do you get when you combine the power of the Corvette Z06 with the best chassis and suspension Cadillac has ever developed? You guessed it: the CTS-V Sedan. Designed to compete with the German powerhouses in the super sedan category, the CTS-V is drop dead gorgeous and smokes the competition as easily as it does its own tires. Inside and out, the CTS-V is fitted with the luxury and prestige you expect from a Cadillac. Hop in and test this ride against anything in its class, and you will be astounded by the power, sound and adroit handling. Simply put, this ain’t your grandfather’s Caddy… unless your grandfather happens to be Mario Andretti.

2000 BMW 323ti Sport

No, this isn’t somebody’s hack job on an E36 BMW; it is the one of the few true hot hatches BMW has ever built. With a spirited motor capable of nearly 200 hp, as well as trailing arm suspension, the 323ti (Tourismo Internaciaonale, which...

2014 Jaguar #14 Emil Frey Racing G3 Jaguar XK
Doing things the hard way is the course for the Emil Frey GT3 Jaguar team. The Frey family history is closely tied with Jaguar going back to before they made cars. That history drove descendent Lorenz Frey and partner Fredy Barth to go with a Jaguar chassis. Beyond that bit of aluminum, the car is almost entirely bespoke. The team designed everything from the gearbox to the steering wheel and iterated again and again to be competitive in the Blancplain Pro-Am Cup division. They are the David to the factory works Goliath teams. The car has proven to be competitive and winning against the industry giants is their sole goal.
“The relationship between Emil Frey Racing and Jaguar goes back decades. So it...

Introducing Forza Horizon 3

I’m thrilled to share that this morning at the E3 Xbox Briefing, we announced the newest entry in the Forza franchise, Forza Horizon 3 – which arrives worldwide this September 27, exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

This time around, we’ve taken the Horizon Festival to Australia. As one of the most beautiful and varied countries in the world, Australia makes the perfect setting for Forza Horizon 3 and the team at Playground has translated the Land Down Under into the largest and most diverse open world ever seen in the Forza Horizon series. Just like the real place, the Australia of Forza Horizon 3 is absolutely massive – in fact, it’s is twice as big as Forza Horizon 2’s map. More importantly, Forza Horizon 3’s vision of Australia captures the spectacular natural beauty, the tremendous diversity, and the environmental variety that makes the country one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

Australia’s natural beauty abounds in Forza Horizon 3. From exploring bioluminescent caves that look like something out of a science fiction movie, to skipping across the beach and skimming the...
New partnership with Michelin to kickoff with event celebrating most famous 24-hour race

The Petersen Automotive Museum has partnered with Michelin, Microsoft, and Ford to launch its newest membership add-on, the Forza Motorsport Membership Pass, with a viewing party of the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 18. Museum members and fans are invited to watch the race live in the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery while select three-person teams will also get the chance to compete in a three-hour endurance race in the new Ford GT race car on the Petersen’s Forza Motorsport 6 simulators. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

“Most of the staff at the Petersen are huge racing fans and there is no bigger race for us than the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” said Petersen Chief Marketing Officer, Adam Langsbard. “We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to celebrate this race with our members and with our partners in Microsoft, Michelin, and Ford and look forward to putting on many more events like this one for our new Forza Motorsport Membership Pass holders. We are also thrilled to unveil the new interactive sliding wall from Michelin and know that it will be an immensely popular addition to the museum.”

Michelin has donated an incredible interactive sliding video wall that lets museum-goers see up close what goes into turning a factory car into a race car. Located outside of the Forza Motorsports Racing Experience on the museum’s second floor, the custom-designed system uses a lightweight aluminum slider that will “scan” a background image of a factory car and illustrate on a 65-inch high-resolution touch screen all of the mechanical and aesthetic differences while also providing interactive demonstrations of the changes on a variety of cars, including the 2017 Ford GT.

“We’re thrilled to be getting involved with a world class...
