the veyron is the ONLY production car with those tires, 365 wide.

You don't have to stick with 365 and stock rims.

What I meant is that the Bugatti already has the only tires it can get that are capable of safe 250 mph speeds.

Which bears no relevance to modifying the car for track use, or does it?
And the point of the Veyron's special developed Pilot Sport is not to hit 250 once, but to make that speed for some time without falling apart. Autobahn, Ehra-Lessien...

Switch them with some slick tires and it will be two times faster around a track and even faster on the drag strip.

However I was exaggerating... but race-specific tires would blow out of the water the stock veyron tires, performance-wise.
