This coming weekend is the first rounds of the British GT at Oulton Park (no live streaming AFAIK) and the FIA GT1 World Championship along with the European GT3 Championship at Nogaro. Here's the important session times for the latter: 7th 14:15 - 15:05 FIA GT3 European Championship Qualifying 15:45 - 16:45 FIA GT1 World Championship Qualifying 8th 14:15 - 15:15 FIA GT1 World Championship Qualifying race 16:35 - 17:35 FIA GT3 European Championship Race 1 9th 09:45 - 10:45 FIA GT3 European Championship Race 2 14:15 - 15:15 FIA GT1 World Championship Championship race This seasons live streaming is planned for YouTube and should be here: clicky EDIT YouTube not working atm but this does: http://eurovision.digotel.com/gt1/index.html
GT3 Live Timing GT1 Live Timing The number of European GT3 entrants for this weekend is extremely disappointing but it should still give us a couple of good races if qualifying is anything to go by. GT1 qualifying show will get underway in roughly 25 mins.
Oooops, woke up late! I've missed all the Qually and practice sessions for the BRSCC at Silverstone. Racing doesn't really start till after the lunch break at 13:30 anyway....I better get geared up soon! NEED TO BE AT SILVERSTONE, it's where I belong! My list is too long to post, there will be at least 1 event every weekend for the rest of the year pretty much!
I've just added the full MotoGP calendar as the season gets under way today in Qatar, check here to see when the race starts in your timezone: motogp.com · Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar The stream for the first GT1 race (qualifying race) is scheduled to begin in around 50mins from this post. Have fun Slim!
Thanks for posting this list Koppie. I do something similar on the calendar at home. Mostly to keep track of the ALMS weekends. I missed the GT1 race, hoping Dailymotion or the official site will have it after the fact like last year. I did catch the GT3 one though. Lost my Speed Channel due to Comcast restructuring thier digital packages, so I'll have to try to catch MotoGP on JustinTV.
Jamesways do you have a UK account on xbox live? If so you might be able to watch the MotoGP on iplayer on there...you know, when they actually put it up.
Oooh, I do. That's a great idea! I'll look into that. Thanks man. BTW, picked up MotoGP 07 again, had a hankering for some old Climax graphics and handling. Plus I hate to admit, but I actually like the Extreme courses, great dramatic sky-scapes. I have fond memories of the playing the old Climax versions when the 360 recently came out. Interesting to compare Climax's 07, Milestone's 08, and Monumental's 10/11 back to back. Shame we won't see another MotoGP game for a few years I imagine. Gee, thanks Dorna and Capcom!
No problem. Apparently its not being shown til 11:25pm here and wont be up on iplayer until a bit after its shown so you might see it sooner if you look elsewhere but its an option. Also thanks for reminding me. Ive been thinking of playing a motorcycle game recently. I was gonna go back to SBK09 but I might have to go play MotoGP07 again. IIRC I was half way through an extreme season. Those courses were brilliant. Great fun.
That was a good MotoGP race today, lots of close racing throughout the entire event. I won't say who won or anything so it won't spoil somebody's chance to watch it later.

World Challenge TV ...after the TV air date.
^^ Nice one, the calendar in the opening post has been updated with your events Ry and I'll check out that website at some point. I overslept this morning and missed the 2nd GT3 race but it looks like its being shown again now before the GT1 Championship Race kicks off. Hopefully the rain will hold off so we can get a good comparison between the 2 series. I don't normally watch MotoGP but I'm glad I tuned in for last nights race, very enjoyable at the front end but to the casual observer there appears to be a wide range in abilities and bike performances.
Well, that was a very impressive weekend for the WRT guys mirrored at the opposite end of the scale by Hexis and Vita4One. The handling of the two 458's looked awful at times especially in the slow corners but their drivers still managed to bring the cars home inside the top 6. I'm fairly impressed with the standard of driving shown by the Am drivers that resulted in far cleaner racing than we've seen in the last 2 years with the old GT1 dodgems. Loads of events on next week and it'll be difficult to follow them all but my focus will be firmly on the Blancpain Endurance race at Monza - last time I checked there were around 60 entries including a certain Mr Rossi driving for Kessel Racing and the majority of current GT3 cars will be on show. The latest BTCC and ALMS rounds will also be my 'must watch' races of the weekend.
Screwing! 1st race of the British Superbikes and I was at work, on a bank holiday!!!! I didn't even do anything, all the garages are closed even our national customers were closed (Halfords, Qwik fit), the only people who were working was the RAC. And even they said it's been dead all morning for them. We actually lost money today, for the amount it costs us on fuel, electric, wages etc, there was no point in opening. I'm home now, ready for race 2!!! :-x
MotoGP race was good. Very entertaining battle up front and for 6th too. And Ducati just seems to be going backwards which is a shame. And the Blancpain race sounds like its going to be a good one. 60 entries!? Thats gonna be interesting seeing them all go through the first corner, especially at Monza! Ive got the Blancpain website bookmarked, but do they stream the races live? Or do they put a highlights video up after the race?
gotta say, i really can't wait for next week - 3 different long beach street course races on the 13th, 14th, and 15th! if there was a single street course i want in forza it would definitely be long beach, even over monaco! there should also be a formula D event and indy lights there too.
yea, i haven't watched formula D in a year or two lol. drifting(IMO) seems to be more of participant sport, just too repetitive to watch(on TV at least).
Very true, I'm not a fan of the FD or D1GP type show with big money being thrown around. D1SL (Street Legal) is one I like to watch whenever I can, or any grassroots style event, I feel they put on a way better show than the big boys.
They used Dailymotion for the live streaming last year and I had no problems with any of the races throughout the season, I should imagine they'll continue with it but I'll post up all the important info for BES and some of the other races towards the end of the week. Here's the link for the stream I have bookmarked: Live Blancpain Endurance Series - A Video PlayList on Dailymotion You can also watch archived races from your Xbox using Dailymotion, I've used it a few times and its pretty good quality.

Sure but it would make it a lot easier for me if you could edit your post so its in the same format as the one in the OP, ta.
Finally caught up with the GT1 race from last weekend. Great race, man, the Audis ran away with it. Shame Kox couldn't find the extra oomph needed to split the Ferraris at the end. I'm really digging the new manufacturers. The Mercedes looked solid as well. Really looking forward to the racing this weekend, hopefully the Blancpain stream is available in the US. And Long Beach is one of my favorite ALMS races.
I can't wait for the ALMS and IRL race from Long Beach, both series' put on great races there. Also, the F1 race should be a good one too. A side note too, for the Canuckistan residents, you can watch the ALMS races on Sportsnet One (provided you have that channel with whatever your plan is) this year.
Monza : Un meeting ouvert et complet avec 57 autos ! ^^57 entries for the Blancpain Monza race barring any last minute withdrawals, according to planetlemans.com it'll be streamed live from the official website (doesn't mention Dailymotion but I'd assume so) and also from the same link I posted for the GT1/3 races last weekend, which worked great for me. Any Europeans without internet access can watch it live on MotorsTV. I wonder if the new Blancpain Revival Series will be streamed too, it's for GT cars that raced from 1994-2004 and sounds bleedin' awesome.
Updated the OP with TJP's bike dates. ------------------------------- Hopefully I've worked these times out right, if not I'm going to miss a helluva lot this weekend; Friday ALMS Qualifying - 5.05pm(local) - saturday 1.05am(UK) Saturday ALMS Race - 4.30pm(local) - sunday 12.30am(UK) Blancpain Qualifying - 1.35pm(local) - 12.35pm(UK) F1 Qualifying - 2.00pm(local) - 7.00am(UK) BTCC Qualifying - 3.20pm(UK) WTCC Qualifying - 4.15pm(local) - 3.15pm(UK) Sunday Blancpain Race - 2.15pm(local) - 1.15pm(UK) F1 Race - 3.00pm(local) - 8.00am(UK) BTCC Race - 11.00am(UK) WTCC Race1 - 12.20pm(local) - 11.20am(UK) WTCC Race2 - 3.20pm(local) - 2.20pm(UK) All events are streamed live except the BES Qualifying session, see below for links ------------------------------- Streams BTCC Live - Live races - British Touring Cars Championship (BTCC) - ITV Sport - ITV F1 & WTCC Live - MyPremium.TV ALMS Live - Television Broadcast | American Le Mans Series (right click on video to change to HD quality) BES Live - GT1 Live TV Timing & Scoring BES - Live-Timing ALMS - Live Timing & Scoring for 60th Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring :: Qualifying
As I see only your ALMS UK times are wrong. Qualifying starts in less then two hours from now. ALMS Qualifying - 5.05pm(local) - 1.05am(BST) ALMS Race - 4.30pm(local) - 12.30am(BST)
Thanks B, a friend of mine put me right a little while ago and this is the first chance I've had to edit the list. Probably just as well it wasn't earlier with all the rain they've been having there.
Blancpain Qualifying is currently underway but no streaming as I suspected, very useful Spotters Guide by the good people at DSC: Daily Sports Car - Sportscar Racing's Internet Magazine As a bonus VLN is running today, stream: Livestream VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring 2012 Timing: http://vln.wige-livetiming.de/
Another series I'll try to follow this year is the FIA Formula 2. It started this weekend at Silverstone. I've just woken up too late and missed the start of the F1, so I'm off to Silverstone to watch the F2 and then back to watch a repeat of the F1. 8)
The GT1 tv link for the Blancpain Race isn't available in the States. Here's one that is. Blancpain Endurance LIVE: Monza, Italy 14 April 2012: Race 1 | GT World - Vidéo Dailymotion All yellow wet race so far though.
There might be 10 McLarens out there but half of them seem to be having trouble pointing it in the right direction atm.
Rossi looking like a pro! Man, I love GT racing! So happy seasons are underway. And again, I'm loving the new manufacturers in the various GT classes. Need some of these to come over in ALMS.
He's turning some decent laps and keeping on the pace, I'm impressed! 2nd BTCC race of the day is about to start.
Sometimes there's actually too much going on lol, I'm having to miss the WTCC races but hopefully I'll catch them on YouTube during the week. I've tried searching in the usual places for worldwide BTCC coverage with no joy unfortunately.
I try to catch replays if links aren't available in the states. But sometimes you can get lucky with mirrors or Justin TV. What the hell did we do before the internet?
If it was a race like the Monza one then by now we'd be soaked right through, miserable at seeing nothing but water vapour and totally clueless to what's going on - the good ol' days weren't always that good haha! You have to applaud the SRO for making their races accessible to as many ppl as possible, on one hand I wish a few more of the national GT series would do the same but then on the other race day attendances could suffer putting the whole thing at risk.
Good point. I do like that several series are using more media outlets now, Youtube, Dailymotion, etc.. It's easy to follow even if you live on the other side of the world. And holy crap at my man Edward Sandstrom! Started 38th, up to 4th now? Wow. Head down like at Spa before.
I've got a feeling WRT will dominate everything they enter this year, already strong in GT1 they're looking equally so here in the wet... if they can sort their pit work out  Got to mention the GT-R currently in 6th place, great performance by RJN so far for a car that's still just a baby in its GT3 life.

great indycar race at long beach! lots of passing and lots of action that caused lots of pit strategy, lol. real shame about josef newgarden, totalling it ont he first corner of the first lap. i don't think franchitti did anything intentional there, but he definitely could've gave him more room. honestly, was a bit surprised franchitti didn't get a penalty, but i don't have a handle on the indy officials either(haven't watched indycar regularly in a few years). REALLY scary wreck for marco andretti with graham rahal, could've ended up WAY worse than it did. of course andretti says it was a dirty move by rahal and that he should've been penalized, but marco was clearly going way the **** too fast to make that corner and rahal made a very minor move. rahal ends up now with a 6 race probation, which is bullshit IMO considering the circumstances(namely andrettis' speed). but, such is racing. DAMN tough break on the last lap for hunter-reay and especially sato, he ran one hell of a race! great track to hear the turbos spool on too, very faint, but you can definitely hear them on certain corners. around the fountain in particular. BTW, who else wants to see NASCAR run long beach? i would pay to see that!!! forgot to add, this race really showed how much of a stranglehold chevrolet has on honda and lotus right now. chevy ordered every car of their power to change engines due to some new discoveries found in testing(had an engine blow, figured out why, solved the problem) and thus every chevy powered indy was docked 10 positions from their qualifying position. this resulted in briscoe - #1 - starting in 11th, power - #2 - starting in 12th - hunter-reay - #3 - starting in 13th, and so on ad nauseum. this left honda with the top 9 positions on the grid with lotus taking the 10th position on race day. but, the results had chevrolet taking 2 out of 3 podium spots(1st and 3rd) and 7 positions out of the top 10 when the checkered flag waved, while spotting honda and lotus 10 positions on the initial green! honda had better get their **** together, and lotus has been utterly disappointing to say the least. really soiling their name by entering a half baked engine late into this year instead of waiting till next year.
