Obviously in 2-3 weeks everyone will be on Forza 3 but what are you playing at the moment? After seeing all the videos and pics of FM3 I just can't bring myself to put any more time into FM2 (I actually havent played it properly in months now), so I think I'll have a little mess about on GTR Evo for a while.
Mainly NFS Shift and Oblivion downloaded from the Marketplace. Can't believe I traded it in before! Personally I rate it better than Fallout 3.
I've been playing Guitar Hero 5 recently. With the DLC that I have, it's so much fun playing with a big group of friends. I actually got rid of it too, then like 3 months later bought online for my computer. Don't know why I got rid of it either.
Yeah most probably, but I couldn't find one... maybe you can Schwig I've always wondered whether to give Oblivion a go - I've seen it a few times as preowned but still can't decide :|
Today I played BF:BC for a bit, but then the Xbox said it couldn't read the disk  Then I played Trials HD, now I think I'll play either FM2 or BF:1943.
You should definitely give it a shot. Now would be the time to do it too. Once FM3 comes out I won't be playing anything but that.
Its a good game, definately worth a purchase. I never bothered completing it, though i might one day. I was playing God Of War 2 but i got fustrated and turnt it off.
I just had a quick look at the marketplace hoping there was a demo for it, computer says no :sadbanana
I don't know how a demo would work for a game like Oblivion lol. I think it would be better to get a pre-owned copy since you won't have to pay the full price obviously. And if you don't like it you won't feel too cheated.
If you can, get it for PC. The controls aren't the greatest but you can re-map them anyway. The big difference though is that you can download some freakin sweet mods for it, that not only add way more content but make the graphics even better than the original without taking a big toll on performance.
Yeah I bought the game for the PC when I got it for the second time. Totally worth it if you have a PC good enough to play it. I just built mine so everything runs like a dream
How's Operation Flashpoint? I'm torn about picking it up today or tomorrow. I've heard so many different reports. I understand what kind of game it is, what concerns me is all the talk about the glitchy AI, invinsible AI bugs, and the checkpoint bug.
Civ Rev off and on at the moment, I want to get a respectable gamerscore for it before I trade in or give it away, probably the latter as its not worth much now lol.
If I'm not mistaken when I traded that in about a week ago I got like $12. It may have been because they were doing this thing where if you trade in 4 games, you get an extra $20, but still more than I expected. I just started playing Aion two days ago. Extremely addicting. Enough said.
That's it I'm done with Civ Rev now, I had a cruise on TDU aswell before coming on here - amazing isn't it? Test Drive was the first game I bought for my 360 two and a half years ago and I still enjoy playing it.
I was playing TDU again before the Forza 2 bug hit me again to finish Career mode once and for all, now all I have left is Time Trials, and the last Exhibition race. Just trying to finish everything up before FM3 comes out, because I know I probably won't ever touch FM2 again.
Im playing forza 2 and some TDU on pc.. Don't think i'll get forza 3, just dont like the gameplay. FM2 is much better IMO!
That game IS awesome. I wish they'd release a newer version. Maybe as a DLC pack when GT5 finally comes out. Although, knowing how much PD pushing back stuff, probably won't see a bike DLC or game for another 3 years...
Yeah im hoping they start working on a new bike game after GT5, maybe then i will think about getting a ps3. Im not getting my hopes up though.
I've just played a bit of Tomb Raider Legend, its been sitting in my games drawer for the last 9 months untouched so I thought I'd finally give it a go - you can really tell the game was made 3+ years ago lol
Finished Shift, finished Dirt 2. Hooked back on Race Pro. Good lord that game is fantastic. Lots of rain races to mimic the weather here. More DLC please. The ALMS race this past weekend was the first I've heard of the Asian LeMans running at Okayama on Oct 31st. Robertson Racing and Rahal Letterman are running in it, so time for running GT Pro laps on Okayama.
Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, Fifa10 and the odd bit of GTA, will get back into that when the DLC get's released. And the odd bit of Zombie killing COD WAW on the final map. Takes forever to get to level 30 and usually end up overrun.
I got an email from sigames yesterday saying that the new Football Manager 2010 demo has just been released, so I'll be giving that a go in a minute. I've been an annual buyer of the FM series since the days when it was Championship Manager, however in recent years I've played the games less and less so I don't think I'll bother getting it this time around. :|
Operation Flashpoint : DR, on the PC. If you're looking for a good FPS military sim, this is it. I was weary of it after reading the reviews and the heartache about how hard it is (and it is fracking hard!), but I had to have it since I loved the original and I'm glad I got it. Very good game, lots of fun and frustration (why the hell can't pilots get in the transport without being shot?).
Back to CoD: MW for me. Honestly it's going to be a struggle with my time between FM3 and MW2, and amazingly I think that CoD will win (for a while at least). I'll go through as much of FM3 as I can in 2 weeks and then it'll be a one or two night a week game until I need a break from CoD.
I think CoD might takes its hold over me too for a little while. Now I need to plan out my time for these games. Why must these two come out so close to each other???
Ya know, I've thought the same thing. There was a huge dry spell this spring/summer/fall, why the heck are so many good games coming out within a few weeks? They should have brought Tekken 6 out in the Summer, Forza out two months ago, and MW2 at it's scheduled time. They need to revolve around MY schedule...maybe I'll email them and tell them they need to start consulting me for release dates .
Ain't that the truth lol. We're the ones paying for it. I envision many miles being driven and many bullets expended in the coming weeks
Yeah, and I've gone hyper-geek this time. I'm already working 4 day work weeks due to the economy (employer can't pay anyone for all 5 days) so most Fridays I have off. I'm taking Thursday the 29th of Oct for Forza 3 and Thursday the 12th of Nov off for MW2 (and with Veterans day that'll be a 2 day work week). Geeky to the max, I know.
